The Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following positions:

A.HEALTH RECORDS TECHNICIAN

B.CLERICAL OFFICER (HEALTH RECORDS)

A.QUALIFICATIONS FOR HEALTH RECORDS TECHNICIAN

a. Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) or Technician Certificate in Health Information Management from a recognized institution.

b. Must be duly registered with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN).

c. Must possess a valid and current practicing license.

d. Must demonstrate good knowledge of medical records management, data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval systems.

e. Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health information systems will be an added advantage.

f. Relevant hospital experience is an added advantage.

g. Must possess at least five (5) credits in O’ Level examinations at a maximum of two sittings, including English Language and other relevant subjects.

B. QUALIFICATIONS FOR CLERICAL OFFICER (HEALTH RECORDS)

a.Must possess at least five (5) credits in O’ Level examinations at a maximum of two sittings, including English Language, OR a minimum of three (3) credits in O’ Level at one sitting without English Language.

b.Must have basic computer knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

c.Must demonstrate ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.

d.Must be well organized, detail oriented, and capable of multitasking under minimal supervision.

e.Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

f.Must be of good character and possess a high level of integrit
