1. Credit in 5 Science Subjects (MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH, CHEMISTRY BIOLOGY, PHYSICS) not more than 2 sittings either WAEC/WAEC

• How Much is the School Fees?

The Tuition fees paid for the session 2024/2025 was ₦920k/year include acceptance fee, school fee, hostel fee, development fee, Uniform fee, library fee, internet fee, Council Registration Fee etc).

There are other fees under admission process such as

SUG FEE, MEDICAL TEST, TEXT BOOKS

• Can I pay the school fee two times or how many times can someone pay the school fee?

Payment Plan On the School Fee

70% payment of School fees is expected to be paid within the 1st semester of the session while the balance of 30% is expected to be paid at the commencement of the second semester.

Breakdown of the payment on the Portal For School fee

1. 50% at the commencement of the session, for year 1 as acceptance fee, then students have access to Course Registration

2. 20% before the first semester examination. Then students have access to First semester results.

3. 20% at the commencement of the 2nd semester, then students have access to Second Semester Course Registration .

4. 10% before the second semester examination, then students have access to Second Semester Results with payment clearance

For the new STUDENTS

50% payment of (non refundable) to collect Admission letter

20% payment before the resumption on First week of October.

10% payment before mid semester examination

20% payment before first Semester examination (6 Months for a semester)

• Does the College use JAMB and which Certificates would I earn?

✓ Yes! The school runs four-year academic program and a year of internship. Graduates will receive OND/HND (Academic Certificates), along with RN certification, and either RM or RPHN (Professional Certificates).

✓ Jamb is required, with the 180 prediction for the JAMB cut off

• What's the Post UTME cut-off mark?

The Post UTME cut off mark is being determined as follow:

1. JAMB SCORE/8 = 50%

2. CBT = 30% &

3. Screening = 20%

So the Post UTME cut off mark will be determined by the highest score

Why My Admission Status Still the same

Admission Stages

✓ STAGE ONE

This is when the candidate's payment is yet to be verified by the accounts department (payment not verified) and also when the candidate's profile is under review to make sure the image uploaded is to the standard. Once verified candidate can have access to Examination Slip, Payment Receipt and Interview Letter, only if accounts officer approved the payment and the image uploaded is successfully approved respectfully.

✓ STAGE TWO

This is when the candidate has successfully completed his or her application form and the application has been reviewed. Then, the candidate is qualified for Post UTME SCREENING as stated on both the Examination slip and Screening Letter.

✓ STAGE THREE

At this stage, the candidate has received an official offer of admission to the College. Candidates will have access to the congratulation letter that will contain an acceptance fee that the candidate is expected to pay as an acceptance fee after the candidate has met the post UTME Cut off requirements

✓ STAGE FOUR

Once the candidate accepts the offer of admission by paying part of the school fees as acceptance fee as stated on the congratulations letter, Candidates will have access to a letter provisional admission letter before the JAMB ADMISSION LETTER

• Does the school has hostel and does it compulsory for one to stay in the hostel?

YES AND HOSTEL IS COMPULSORY FOR EVERY STUDENT IN YEAR 1 AND OPTIONAL FOR MARRIED STUDENT IF REQUESTED FOR.

OTHER LEVELS STAY OFF THE CAMPUS EXCEPT IF STUDENTS REQUEST FOR IT FROM THE MANAGEMENT TO STAY IN THE HOSTEL, (TERM AND CONDITION MAY APPLY)

• Cooking allowed in the hostel

YES! students are allowed to cook with their portable Gas cooker (3kg or 6kg Gas Cylinder)

• How many Semesters?

Two semesters in a year and a semester is six months, however different activities are embedded in that six months ranging from class sessions, clinical postings etc, with 14 days break interval depending on the management 

• What are the subjects to be prepared for the Entrance Examination

• When is the RESUMPTION for the new intake?

Resumption has usually been the first week (1st Monday) of October.

• Can I use awaiting results to Apply or Obtain the Form?

Yes candidates can apply or obtain the form by using awaiting results. And the results must be provided before the post UTME Screening date which always stated for August.

• How many candidates will the school admitted for this year

Last year successful 120 candidates were given admission based on Merit.

• How long will it take to verify my payment on the portal.

CONDITION FOR QUICK PAYMENT VERIFICATION

1. If the payment made is reflected on the College Bank Accounts.

2. If the Evidence of payment carries Sender (Debit) Account Name

3. If Payer Name is filled correctly with Sender (Debit) Account Name

4. If Evidence of Payment uploaded is clear and readible enough

5. If amount on the evidence of payment is tallied with the amount selected (School Fee) or to be paid

6. If wrong evidence of payment is not uploaded.

7. If there is no repetition of evidence of payment that was uploaded

_Note: verification of payment are done within shortest time during working hours and it may takes more hours on weekends but if it takes more days then the evidence is rejected or still under review because either one of the above is not meant, either way, you will be notified via your email_

• How to check Post UTME Results.

Login to the school portal as a student at https://cono.buth.edu.ng/portal

If successful, on the left top corner (Menu) then click on Results. If meet up with entrance Examination cut up mark, then you will be able to print invitation letter for the interview and for those didn't meet up with the cut off the admission status changes 'You are

Not meet up with the cut off mark requirement so admission can't be given'

• How long will it take for the Post UTME Results to be out.

The results is always released within 14 days after the exam has been taken.
